ZRisk is a small, independent product. Not a fund, not a signal service, and not a company with a sales team. Here is who is behind it and what that means for you.
Why it exists
This started as a spreadsheet. I traded futures, I knew the formula, and I still kept ending up in positions slightly bigger than I meant, because the price had moved by the time I finished typing and because the fees were never in the number. A stop-out that was supposed to cost one percent cost one and a bit, every time, and over a few hundred trades that is not a rounding error.
So the spreadsheet became a tool, and the tool became this. Everything in ZRisk exists because it was needed in front of a live chart, not because it looked good on a feature list. That is also why the free calculators on this site are genuinely free and need no account: they are the part I would have wanted first.
It is a small operation. When something breaks, a person reads the email. When you ask for a feature, it goes on a list that one person works through, and if it is not going to happen you will be told rather than left waiting.
Independent
No investors to answer to and nothing to upsell you into. The subscription is the entire business model, which is why nothing here is designed to make you trade more.
Small on purpose
One person builds it and one person answers the email. That is slower than a support team and considerably more useful when the question is technical.
What this is not
- Not financial advice. Nothing here tells you what to trade or when.
- Not a signal service, a copy trading platform or a fund.
- Not a custodian. Your money stays on your exchange and never passes through here.
- Not finished. It ships often, and the release notes say exactly what changed.
Talk to a person
Questions about your account, a bug, or something that should work differently: write, and you will get an answer from the person who wrote the code.
Judge it on the numbers
You do not have to take any of this on trust. Size a trade with the free calculator and see whether the arithmetic is better than yours.
